These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, including your interactions with our product catalogue, enquiries, quotations, order-related services and other website content.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the relevant product documentation, instructions for use, safety data sheets and manufacturer recommendations before purchasing or using any product.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable product documentation, research-use products are intended for their specified research applications and must not be used for clinical diagnosis, human or veterinary treatment, or other unauthorised purposes.
AIC does not represent that every product is suitable for every experimental application. Customers should independently assess product suitability for their intended research or laboratory requirements.
Product enquiries, requests for quotations and purchase orders may be submitted through the channels made available by AIC.
All quotations are subject to the validity period, pricing, availability, specifications and other conditions stated in the relevant quotation.
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing:
AIC reserves the right to clarify, decline or cancel an order where there are material pricing errors, product discontinuations, supply constraints, compliance concerns or other legitimate operational reasons, subject to applicable law and any applicable contractual obligations.
Prices are communicated through quotations, invoices or other authorised AIC sales channels and may change unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, quoted prices exclude applicable GST, freight, packing, handling, insurance, customs duties, import charges or other additional costs.
The final payable amount and applicable charges will be as stated in the accepted quotation or invoice.
Customers must make payments in accordance with the agreed payment terms. AIC reserves the right to withhold dispatch, suspend further supplies or take other lawful action in the event of overdue payments, subject to the applicable agreement and law.
Any discrepancy in a quotation or invoice should be brought to AIC’s attention promptly.
Delivery timelines communicated by AIC are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding in writing.
Delivery may be affected by courier operations, transportation delays, customs clearance, import permissions, manufacturer lead times, stock availability, force majeure events or other circumstances outside AIC’s reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information and ensuring that the receiving facility can accept the products under their specified storage and handling conditions.
Upon receipt, customers should promptly inspect the shipment for visible damage, shortages, incorrect products or temperature-control and packaging concerns, where applicable, and notify AIC with supporting documentation.
Risk of loss, transfer of title and responsibility for transportation-related issues will be determined by the applicable quotation, accepted order, shipping terms and governing law.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to AIC’s approval and the terms of the accepted order.
Products that are specially procured, imported, customised, temperature-sensitive, perishable, opened or otherwise unsuitable for resale may be ineligible for cancellation or return, subject to applicable law and the agreed terms.
Where a product is supplied incorrectly, arrives damaged or is alleged to have a manufacturing defect, customers should notify AIC promptly and provide the invoice or order reference, product catalogue number, batch or lot number, photographs where relevant, and a description of the issue.
AIC will review the matter and determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with the applicable manufacturer warranty, product-specific terms, accepted order and applicable law. Where appropriate, a replacement, credit or refund may be considered.
No provision in this section excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
AIC endeavours to supply products in accordance with the applicable product specifications and the conditions agreed with the customer.
Products manufactured by third parties may be subject to the respective manufacturer’s warranty, quality policy, technical documentation and product-specific limitations. Where applicable, AIC will assist customers in communicating with the manufacturer or authorised supplier regarding product quality concerns.
Warranty coverage, where available, may not extend to issues arising from improper storage, handling, transportation after delivery where outside AIC’s responsibility, unauthorised modification, contamination, incorrect use, failure to follow the product protocol or use beyond the stated shelf life.
Performance-related concerns must be supported by relevant experimental records, storage information, product details and other reasonable documentation requested for investigation.
AIC does not guarantee a particular experimental outcome, research result or suitability for an application that has not been validated or expressly agreed.
AIC may provide product information, technical assistance, application guidance and manufacturer documentation to support customers.
Such information is provided in good faith and is intended to assist scientific decision-making. It does not replace the customer’s independent scientific assessment, laboratory validation, risk assessment or compliance obligations.
Experimental results can vary depending on sample characteristics, instrumentation, laboratory conditions, protocols and other factors. Customers remain responsible for validating methods and determining whether a product is appropriate for their intended application.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product presentations, designs, downloadable documents and other materials, is owned by AIC, its licensors or the relevant third-party rights holders, unless otherwise stated.

This provision does not apply to the extent that a claim arises from AIC’s own negligence, wilful misconduct or other circumstances for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
