Shri B. N. Kapila, an ex-service man in the Indian Navy, after
his retirement from service, started a business of trading
laboratory consumables to the schools and colleges in Chennai.
Thus formed Associated Instruments and Chemicals (AIC) in
1964. The company's genesis began in a 1000sqft area
warehouse with 5 employees and around 500 products.
Today, AIC is a preferred supplier of world class scientific
laboratory products and instruments to diverse sectors across
India. Our experience and commitment in providing quality
products with timely delivery has grown the company multifold
into a group of companies.
